The whole list
Every earthquake IGN publishes, including the magnitude 0.6 microquakes that never reach the news.
Earthquakes in Spain, as they happen
QuakeEs gathers the Spanish seismic catalogue from the Instituto Geográfico Nacional and tells you about the earthquakes that matter to you: by distance, by province or by minimum magnitude.
No sign-up, no account, and no need to check a web page every day.

What it does
Map
Each event at its epicentre, with depth and zone.
Filters that fit
By magnitude, by province, by distance from where you are, and by period.
Alerts on your terms
Distance from your location, a specific province or all of Spain, plus a minimum magnitude. You only hear about what matches.
A page per earthquake
Magnitude, depth, intensity, province, region and a link to the official report when there is one.
Spanish and English
The whole app, notifications included, in the language of your phone.
Alerts that actually reach you
An alert is only worth anything if it arrives. That is why the server decides whether a new earthquake affects you, instead of sending everything and letting the phone filter: that way you get no noise.
Your criteria are stored on the server and deleted when you turn alerts off.
Where the data comes from
The IGN earthquake catalogue is the source of truth: it is the only one that publishes Spanish seismicity complete, reviewed and with a province.
USGS and EMSC are a second opinion. If they publish an earthquake the catalogue does not have, a daily check reports the discrepancy so it can be looked at. They are not data shown in the app.
The app shows the last few days. It is not a historical archive: it is a warning of what is happening.
No accounts, no sign-up
No user accounts, no email, no password. The app asks you for nothing in order to work.
It is funded by advertising. The ads are served by Google AdMob and we do not receive your data: only aggregate revenue.
